Review of Global Studies

Review of Global Studies (RGS) is an interdisciplinary academic journal focusing on scientific exploration of global developments and international relations. It presents advanced analyses of global issues, drawing insights from the social sciences, including from international relations, economics, politics, public policies, development studies, transnationalism, identities, history, and critical theory.

The Journal seeks to foster an advance understanding of global dynamics, including global engagement policies, global politics and the involvement of state and non-state actors in international affairs. It proactively tries to present the roles and the associated issues of non-state actors in the realms of international relations, development activities of states and area studies.

The journal actively encourages theoretical and empirical contributions focusing on comparative studies concerning global issues, international organizations, civil societies, sustainable development experiences and impacts of globalisation on states and geopolitics. The journal strives to advance scholarship and informed discussions on emerging transnational issues and area studies.

The Review of Global Studies will be published from July, 2026. It is published three times a year in English language and it covers subjects within the social sciences. The journal maintains a rigorous double-blind peer-review process involving a minimum of two reviewers  and each manuscript is checked before publication for similarity index and percentage of AI use . 

The journal publishes three issues a year consisting of -

• Original research articles (6,000–8,000 words)
• Review articles (6,000–8,000 words)
• Book reviews (1,000–2,000 words)

The Review of Global Studies welcomes proposals for Special Issues by the guest editor.
